A healthy relationship is a relationship that is filled with mutual respect, love, understanding, support and trust towards one another.
Pointing out the health status of your relationship is very significant but sometimes tricky. Especially when the relationship is in a trying phase and you begin to question the status of emotional rapport that you share with your partner.
These key qualities are the qualities that are attributed to a healthy relationship regardless of what phase it is.

1 .Transparency & Honesty


These two words are somewhat intertwined. This is because they both have one thing in common, Truth. Transparency is an attribute of someone who reveals, discloses or set out the truth either in word or in action while Honesty on the other hand is this truth that is being let out.
That said, there is a possibility for a person to be honest but not transparent. This might depend on the depth of what is to be revealed.
In a relationship, there is a possibility for you to occasionally have difficulty revealing truth to your partner. This is probably because you are worried about how they will feel or react afterwards.

7. Mutual compromise


This is a state of balance in terms of compromises. A healthy relationship is not a one way traffic.
When it comes to one’s principles, personality, rights, opinions or even claims ;both people in a healthy relationship posses a middle ground when you weigh the amount of compromise that either of them make in order to make the relationship thrive.
If one person is often made to compromise much more than the other person, then there is a chance that the relationship between them is toxic and unhealthy.

8. Accountability


It is distinctly possible to posses a deportment that doesn’t sit well with your partner. This particular deportment is likely to cause hindrances to your relationship. However, acknowledging this behavior is one factor that keep a relationship healthy between the two people involved.
